Crazy Summer
Seems that I haven't written for awhile. So, for those of you who care, Yes, I'm still alive! :)
We had a very busy summer. Six kids, 5 cats, and two parents in a three bedroom house, makes for quite an exciting life normally. Summer just brings the added joys of everyone wanting to go in a different direction at exactly the same time.
So let's see, the excitement started off with my exhusband remarrying, we had one daughter have knee surgery, a family reunion, girls camp, youth camp, family camping, road trips, father son camp outs, side trips, girls night out, band camp, visits from graduates, year round school changes, and all the in between trips of everyday life. We've had another car wreak with my Dear Darling Husband, and on the night of his birthday party no less! (What a lovely surprise that was!) We've gone from 3 kids full-time, 2 on year round school, to 4 kids full-time, 2 on different year round tracks, one in middle school, and one homeschooling. We've survived graduations, weddings, baptisms, and reunions. All this and managed to still be only semi-insane ;)
It was a busy summer, but a very fun one. We made memories. We had fun. We drove each other nuts! Isn't that what family is supposed to be all about anyway??
